Oui, Oui, mon frere!

As a long-suffering Bruins fan I had my stomach in knots watching that crazy game last night...still can't believe Bergeron (probably my favorite Bruin and a Quebec boy himself)took that--questionable--high stick penalty w/2 mins. to go....you can't even take the chance at having an infraction called at that point protecting a 1-goal lead...and you just knew the Habs would score on the PP...

On to Philly, and revenge for the 3-0 collapse last year.

Go Bruins!!!!

Bergeron, Recchi, Thomas et al will be scheduling tee times here soon!

I figure the key here has got to be the Bruins' PP. If we can up the current 0%, or even -0%, success rate to maybe 20% we'll be tough to beat. That and Chara has to step it up, hopefully he'll be at 100% by Saturday. Either way it should be a great series.

For me, nothing can compare to a great hockey game between two evenly matched teams. And thanks to the wonder of NBC and Versus, I'll get to see ALL the games. Too happy out here in the desert.

It should be a very good series. Grinding and physical.
The Flyers need to get their PP going as well. except for game 6, it hurt them the entire series. Hopefully the Flyer goalies have gained a bit of equilibrium and settle in. Certainly can't afford to give up so many bad ones as they did against Buffalo.

Glad you'll be geting to see them! I'd wish you good luck, but hey, it's the playoffs. I hope the Flyers squash 'em like a bug!! :)

Eeeeww. A Flyers fan.

Well, what can I say? The smart money is definitely on your boys. I think we have the edge in goaltending but I am envious of the Flyers as a 3-line deep team, all of which can seemingly score at will.

But you never know in hockey. I'm hoping Krejci is especially motivated to burn the Flyers after getting KO'd by Richards in game 3 last year (clean hit, btw, no whining about that), but he was clearly the Bruins' bext player in that series last year and I hope he can be again...he's another guy the Bruins need--along with Lucic and Kaberle--to play a LOT better in this 2nd round.

Go Bruins!!!!

I hope you saved that money....

Today was a VERY good day, but I do remember last year's epic collapse, so I am holding back jut a bit...

Can't wait for game 2

yes, after last year I'm not celebrating until the Bruins have taken 4 from the Flyers AND it's confirmed by the NHL front office.

Even last year when they were up 3-0 I was telling people the series wasn't over. I've been a Bruins fan for a loooooong time and have seen too many of their movies end in tragedy.

(What I would give to see them win the Stanley Cup!)

anyway, Go Bruins!!!, and as good luck I'm going to listen to Jerry doing "Waiting For A Miracle." It worked for the Red Sox in '04, so why not?

Yet more proof that the B's should just refuse to accept penalties.

There's got to be an obscure rule in the book that would allow them to decline. I've never seen a "man-advantage" quite so pathetic. As Comic Book Guy would say: "Worst...power play...EVER!"

If Julien wasn't such a clown he'd let Seguin into the game at least to charge up the PP. Don't see how it could get any worse.

To bring it back to the Dead, nice call on 6/22/73...it's Vancouver, so maybe that's good vibes for having the B's and Canucks meet up in the Finals. (Lucic is from Vancouver.)

Top 3 all-time "Birdsong" in that PNE show.

Listening to that Birdsong the first time woke me up to just how amazing Bobby can be. Ridiculously good.
